New CA box

From: Matthew Sparks (msparks@mcclatchy.com) | Date: 2000-06-21 12:37:04 UTC-07:00
Hi I am in Northern CA and there doesn't seem to be many boxes near here, So
I put up my first letterbox.

It's an Urban Box you can park within 100' of it, It is within 50' of a
freeway.

Auburn Ca box

Go to Auburn CA
Find Old Town
Ask around for Claude Chana
Find the Thumb with the Red nail polish
Take a course from the thumb (329 degrees)
Go to where the bearing intersects a fence
Go SW along the fence to the first fence post
The box is hanging from the top of the post.

It is a high traffic area so be discreet about retrieving and replacing the
box
Keep it well hidden in the Plants.

For the GPS inclined.
38N 53.770'
121W 04.754
Then Find the Thumb with the Red nail polish
Take a course from the thumb (329 degrees)
Go to where the bearing intersects a fence
Go SW along the fence to the first fence post
The box is hanging from the top of the post.

Matthew,

I've forwarded your instructions to relatives in Auburn. Maybe this will inspire them.

Welcome to the game!
